A tasty and savory take on waffles made with puff pastry filled with diced onions, crispy bacon, and melted cheese.
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

- 1/4 cup diced onion
Instructions:
Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to heat it up
Spread some flour on a work surface and cut the puff pastry sheet into squares or rectangles about the size of waffles
On top of half of the pastry squares, spread out the crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, and diced onion
Place the rest of the pastry squares on top and press the edges together to seal
Carefully put each pastry sandwich on a waffle iron that has already been heated
Cook for about three to five minutes, or until golden brown and crispy
