Ingredients:
- 2 slices thick-cut Italian bread
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large beefsteak tomatoes, sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 4 ounces cooked steak, sliced thinly
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
Place the bread slices on a baking sheet
In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic
Brush the mixture onto the bread slices
Arrange tomato slices on top of the bread, followed by mozzarella slices
Place the sliced steak on top of the cheese
Season with salt and pepper
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly
Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze
