Deluxe Salmon Sushi Rolls

Fresh salmon, creamy avocado, and crunchy cucumber are wrapped in seasoned sushi rice and nori seaweed to make these Deluxe Salmon Sushi Rolls. They are very satisfying and look great as an appetizer or main dish for anyone who likes sushi.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 4 nori seaweed sheets
  • 300g fresh salmon fillet, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 4 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Soy sauce, for dipping
  • Pickled ginger, for serving
  • Wasabi, for serving

Instructions:

Cook sushi rice according to package instructions

In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved

Fold this mixture into the cooked sushi rice

Place a nori seaweed sheet on a bamboo sushi mat

Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top

Arrange slices of salmon, avocado, and cucumber in the center of the rice

Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, sealing the edge with water

Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife

Repeat with remaining ingredients

Serve the sushi rolls with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi
