This Sweet Peach Tart combines ripe peaches with a flaky puff pastry for a simple and delicious dessert. The warm, buttery dough envelops the sweet baked peaches, creating a comforting treat perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Add sliced peaches to a bowl and mix in the brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon
Make sure the peaches are well covered
Put the puff pastry on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper and roll it out into a rectangle
Place the peach slices on top of the puff pastry, making sure to leave some space around the edges
The puff pastry should be folded over the peaches to make a rough tart shape
Melt some butter and brush it around the edges of the pastry
Put it in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the peaches are soft
Let it cool down a bit before you serve it
