Ingredients:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- Eggs, water, and oil as required by cake mix
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
- 1 cup strawberry frosting
- 1 cup vanilla frosting
- Lollipop sticks
- White chocolate candy melts
- Pink candy melts
- Brown candy melts
- Sprinkles or decorations of your choice
Instructions:
Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions
Bake and let it cool
Crumble the cooled chocolate cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl
Mix in 1 cup of chocolate frosting with the chocolate cake crumbs
The mixture should be moist enough to roll into balls
Roll the chocolate cake mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Repeat the same process with the strawberry cake mix and vanilla cake mix, using their respective frostings
Melt the white chocolate candy melts, pink candy melts, and brown candy melts in separate bowls according to the package instructions
Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted candy melts and insert it into a cake ball
This will help the cake stay on the stick
Dip each cake ball into the corresponding flavored melted candy melts, making sure to coat the entire ball
Let the excess coating drip off
Place the coated cake pops upright in a styrofoam block to let them set
Once the candy coating is set, you can drizzle the different colors of candy melts over the cake pops to create a swirled effect
Decorate the cake pops with sprinkles or decorations while the coating is still slightly wet
Allow the cake pops to fully set and harden
Your Neapolitan Cake Pops are now ready to be enjoyed
