A rich and creamy cauliflower gratin thats gluten-free and keto-friendly. This dish is perfect as a comforting side or a satisfying main course.
Ingredients:
- 1 large cauliflower head, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat
Add minced garlic and saut until fragrant, about 1 minute
Add cauliflower florets to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender
In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg
Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce thickens slightly
Transfer the cooked cauliflower to a baking dish
Pour the Parmesan cream sauce over the cauliflower
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and the top is golden brown
Sprinkle chopped parsley over the gratin before serving
